These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hire Margie service ("Margie," the "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Margie is an AI receptionist for local service businesses. The Service answers calls, responds to leads, sends messages, requests reviews, sends invoice reminders, and books appointments on your behalf, based on the information and settings you provide.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate business details and to keep your contact information current. You must be authorized to use the phone numbers and accounts you connect to the Service.
You agree not to use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or unsolicited communications, or in any way that violates applicable law, including telemarketing and messaging regulations. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to contact your customers.
You authorize Margie to place calls and send messages to your customers on your behalf using the settings you configure. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and any necessary consent to contact those individuals. Recipients can opt out of messages at any time, and you agree to honor those requests.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the rates shown at signup. Setup fees, where they apply, are one time and non-refundable once work has begun. You can change or cancel your plan at any time. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.
You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support. On cancellation you keep your phone number. We may suspend or end the Service for non-payment or for violation of these Terms.
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Margie automates communication tasks but does not replace your professional judgment, and you remain responsible for your business and your customer relationships.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
